      The Red Snapper Inn was established in 1987 as a seasonal restaurant to serve summer tourists in the seaside resort village of Surfside Beach. Owner/Chef Ivan Stathopoulos' fusion of Greek accented fare drew larger and larger crowds clamoring for his fresh fish and shrimp creations.

  In 1991 Ivan's son-in-law, Managing Partner/Chef, Lin Biar, brought his Louisiana inspired seafood favorites to a burgeoning year round operation that boasts some of the best seafood served on the Texas Gulf Coast.

     With its cheerfully casual beach flotsam decor, the Red Snapper Inn is laid back, but its food and service is definately up to big city norms. The kitchen and staff take their jobs seriously and have been recognised and featured in Texas Monthly, Texas Highways Magazine, the Houston Press, the Houston Chronicle, the Brazosport Facts, the Austin American Statesman, and B 4 U eat.com.
